Has anyone blew up the rear tire...

....in a rolling burnout? Just wondering it you loose control of the bike. I'm using my commuter and ddon'tt want to Fukitup just yet. I just learned rolling burnouts and I'm worried to do them for more than 400' or so in case I blow up the rear. New tire only lasted a week....but it was a fun week.

ha.. takes more than you think sometimes to blow a tire...

had a few shows where im sitting there for what seems like ever until that damn thing pops!

dont fret. just cover your clutch when it blows youll be fine.

theres been about 80 billion people before you whove all blown tires in burnouts and not ate it, i am sure youll be ok!

yes, even when rolling in circles...

or hc circles for that matter..

just cover the clutch. pull in the clutch and the tire stops moving.

The biggest thig for YOU to worry about will be the mess it will make on your bike.

Nothint' to it. The only part of my bike I wax is the undertail . Crap rinses right off in the rain and it rains here everyday.

OK good luck.

After it blows keep on it untill you totally split the entire tire in two.

Re: Has anyone blew up the rear tire...

I've never blown a tire up while at speed,, I imagine that sucks. But ya, I've bursted one doin a rolling burnout in front of the old tire shop. It kinda went "puff" but I didn't control.

Have no idea what happens to the bike at 80 though,,,, yikes.

Its not bad at all. I picked up a nail and it shot out at around a 100mph or so while i was passing a car. My cousin was right behind me. It just got a little wobbly and i pulled over. You actually have more control the faster your going.

Re: Has anyone blew up the rear tire...

last year my bike tossed me pretty good while attempting a rolling burnout, so I became a bit nervous about trying it again about it. Hate to get tossed again, but I think I got it figured out.

Re: Has anyone blew up the rear tire...

A new tire? is that like..one of those things that you see on a rack at a bike dealer? A new tire is only good for one thing...:"the economy". I believe in recycling.
