Gsx-r 1000?

Bout stuntin gixxer 1000 model '01....I have a chance to get this bike, but got few q's...I rode the bike, feels good, little weird, alot wider then 600's I'm used to, especially tank. Slow stuff is a joke on this thing, and also rocks for highway, but im more of a lot rider in past 6 months. I'm wondering about oil starvation on this bike, and damage resistance...I would get 636 better, but this one I get for lower price and alot of equipment like steering dampner and other stuff. I loved 636, but it is way too fragile for my taste...so comments please...

Re: Gsx-r 1000?

I'd go with the 636 or an f4i for that matter, i've riden both and have been considering ditching my 929 for one. 600's are a lot easier to control, not as twitchy on the throttle. As for the oil starvation on them, i know it's a problem cause my buddy's 750 blew the motor on a long highway wheelie and the 1000 has basically the same motor just stroked out with a few other minor changes. I've heard of people making aftermarket oil pickups for them to prevent the starvation though.
