clutch adjustment

hey, Thanks for all the info everybody has given me... I have one more question. I put the clutch in, It went in fine but now when i start it up and i put it in gear it jumps and shuts off what am i doing wrong???? Thanks

there is adjustment for the clutch pin behind a rubber cover on the front sprocket cover. all you need is a 10mm and a flat head screw driver to adjust it.
