stuntin a 10R

What do you guys think about the ZX-10R for stunts? Not a full on stunt bike but a daily driver that I can try and learn some slow stuff on. Used to have a 03 636 but had to sell it now I got a killer deal on this 10R so couldn't pass it up. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks :YEAH

Good for highway stuff. Don't know of anyone rocking it for slow stuff, but then again I'm sheltered

The headlight support/Ram air cost more $$ than a new frame you do the math...

Re: stuntin a 10R

don't stunt it...the front rim cracks (has factory failure), frame cracks, everything cracks, it has too much power, way too twitchy...sucks overall...except for highway stuff cuz it goes on one wheel in 5th w/ stock gearing...

Re: stuntin a 10R

got two friends with them....both ride nothing but highway...period. Only one of them really wheelies, does some 2 up highwya shyt tho. Bike has gobbs of power, but is VERY light and brittle...EVERYTHING on the front of one blew up like an M-80 was set in it from a very minor accident. The other buddies ZX-1o had over 5G's in damage from laying it down on the right side at 25 mph...needed a new tail, slip-on, side fairing, upper, and maybe a few other small peices.

If you get one, don't stunt it, chrome and go blow away some Busas....mkae sure you come down light from highwya wheelies too, frames have cracked at the neck on several from simple highway wheelies.

Thanks for all the thoughts. Thanks lill pierce for the link that is the first time I have seen a guy stunt a 10R. Nice to know it is being done maybe I will just take the chance. I love the bike and would hate to get rid of it for something else. Thanks again everybody :YEAH

Re: stuntin a 10R

They are fast, powerful, and way too much for most people...but I have also heard they break easy. I know Kawi had a recall on the front rims due to them shattering on harsh landings. Just take it to the dragstrip and whoop up on the R1s and Busas....much more fun that trying to buy all new stuff for your bike every time you dump it.

And as for Teach riding one, I think it was a loaner, and anyway, he doesn't wreck that much anymore...he's one of the good ones!
