Re: Stoppie speed

I always come to complete stop and stand on the front tyre and balance it there, it's fun, and When the rear comes down I try to stay in balance and let the brake off so the bike start to roll back. It's way cool when you don't need to put your foot to the ground for balance and it's rolling back. Also the end is good point to bring it even higher and get the feeling how high you can go. Much better going over at stop then from rolling 30mph.

I think start slow, film it. Get it higher and higher, when you can roll some distange at very low speed, then start to bring up the speed. the difference betweet 35mph and 45mph is amazing. the distange maybe doubles, put try the 35 stuff so much you get the feeling for the tail coming to the side and learn to steer it. Because that is a biatch. Set it down immediately if the tail start to come to the side. Because when you land sideways even from almoust no-speed, it's going over to the side very easily. I've dropped it couple of times to the side when it turns.

It's only going over at very high position. but the higher you get the more difficult it is to control the rear sideways and it's more possible to get a slapper.

coming to a dead stop is touchy and can loop it very easily...it is easier to control height when rolling then when poping it in dead stop...

IF YOU CAN ROLL SOME DISTANCE AND THEN COME TO A STOP THEN YOUR GOOD. IF YOU CAN ONLY GO 10 FT. THEN COMING TO A STOP IS DISASTER.
