954 front on an F4i

954 front on an F4i
so i finially decided ill drop the cash to go ahead and do the 954 conversion...
could someone list EVERY SINGLE part im going to need
and if i buy a dampner, what bracket do i need to buy... a bracket for a 954 or a bracket for an F4i?!

are ur forks slighty bent, are ur rotors warped...if the answer is no then dont drop the $$ till ur rollin sum serious distance...merk rolls ova 500ft on a stock f4i front end. get a damper and stiffen ur forks up a lil and ill be good to go

that thing is s solid metal box, how did u mess it up. i might have a line on a 954 front end,,pm me about it, its no tmien but i think itll be cheap as for now get a damper

yeah I bent my forks and swapped to the 954/929 front end. It was worth it. It comes up so much smoother. Anyways, you'll need the forks, upper and lower triple clamps, clipons, wheel, rotor, axle, spacers for the axle, bearings for the wheel and stem, think thats it.

Good luck finding one for cheap. You have to replace everything. Forks, wheels, lines, calipers, rotors, Clipons, bearings........ + a dampener. I would work on more of your basic stunts and step up to the 954/929 front suspension when your ready to get REALLY serious about rolling long stoppies.

I think you can keep your f4i brake calipers.. They are the same just black instead of gold

um, I think I got all the parts I needed for my swap for a little over $500.........
And as far as what mounting kit to buy on the dampner, I would call whoever makes the dampner and ask them, because different brands differ on what changes from bike to bike...
