Which cage??? pretty simple

i dunno,from what ive seen and heard,FI cages bend and break mounts easy,on the other hand my 905 on my f4i took a major *** loop/crash and tumble and just tweaked the cage in some,my only complant on the 905 is it rolls over too easy.

looks like from the info undeneath your avatar that you ride a CBR F4. If this is the bike you are wanting to put the cage on, Freestyle Ingenuity is the best cage on the market for that bike.... no doubt.

FI's break mounting tabs on gsxr's. On cbr's like mine I think they r awesome. Tougher motor mount tabs. Mine bent the big hardened bolt that holds the slider part to the frame/motor but didn't break anything.

i have the FI sliders now but ive been doin alot of slow **** and 12in so i want a cage now. im just a little causious about the FI cages cuase one of my friends had one on a new R6 and it broke one of the mounting tabs too. i was leaning torwards the powers/905 because of that but now that i think about it, what you said makes since.

shock andy has powers on his f4i and swears by it,hes crashes his f4i tons of times and its still going.

i have an f4i with a FI cage on it and i was learning to scrape and i did something wrong dunno really but i brought it back down on 2 wheels and jumped a ditch then proceeded to take out a few trees(small onesof course) and then slammed on to my cage. so i a big beleiver in the FI cages for the F4Ibut thats my goodluck finding a cage bro

i ordered a 905

one of my friends is a pro stunter and i asked him. he said 905 hands down i dont even half to think aobut it. the problems with FI's are pretty well documnted and powers tend to bend into the stator cover

If you don't mind the wait mxd is a great cage... fit was perfect and it is strong as hell. Here's mine....
I ordered it without powder coating to save some time in getting it but that didn't work. lol

so when u get a cage on your bike and u need to oil change your nasty ****... u gotta take off the cage, then plastics,just to get to it?? damn, to mutch work... my ***** streetfighterd for a reason, easy access to that eh... you know that thing that makes the bike run??!!! lol engine

you only dropped your bike once and it wasnt even running and your clip on got bent in and you broke a lever, if i didnt move your clip on off the tab it would of broke and that cage is way to close to the bike its less than i inch from the clutch cover when it flexes its going to hit imo.maybe it works on other bikes

on the f4's/f4i's, you can change the oil and the filter without taking off any of the plastics. so thats not really an issue

The only thing that happened to the bike was the brake lever broke, and the bar end was a little tweaked. Not a big deal...
According to you ALL cages suck except the F.I. The thing to realize is the purpose of a cage is to prevent MAJOR damage to your bike. The only way to stop any damage from occuring is to never crash.....

I got MX bars with my mxd cage and have absolutely no problems, check out my 12 crash and you'll see it hit the bottom part of the cage and then rolled onto the slider. 905's normally just roll, and sometimes roll onto the clip ons.
