I have my choice between a 99 900rr front end and an 01 f4i front end.

I'd like to know what makes one better than the other, so if your opinion is more than hearsay, please post up.



If you have no valid basis for your opinion because you're a newbie post *****, or if you just want to tell me that a 929/954 front end is the best, please go here and bump my for sale thread to get your count up.

i would say f4i because dont the rr front ends have sixteen inch rims, i am pretty sure they do, and tires arent easy to find for them. but strength i think the 900rr front end is stronger.

even though u said not to say 929/954 front end...im gonna go out on a limb and say if ur gonna do one of those and u have to buy it...its not even worth it...now if ur being given it thats a different story.....900rr front ends seem to have issues with seals every once in a while....so do the f4i....now my 929 front end that ive had on for mmmm 1.5 yrs still isnt showing signs of a seal leak(course now that i said this it prob will..lol) and every time i bring it out to ride is in a truck to the spot....so it def gets abused every time the bike is started..and shes still holding strong....all my other boys like john...craig..and t all have f4is(and jay but hes got a gsxr1k front end) and either have the 929/954 front end or are looking to get one...900 isnt even a consideration to them....so thats my .02 even thought its not what u wanted to hear i hope it helped in some way

my f4i front end was really squishy, i had a 954 for a little bit and i really liked how solid and rigid the front end felt....i'd really go with one of those man....you can really stiffen up the front end of those 954's, i had the f4i tapped out and it still felt soft....but then again i weigh around 275 or so...so take it for what it's worth
