i am looking at trying to do the f4i with a 954 frontend but on my 02 gsxr600

right now i need to know 1st can i do it with a gsxr 1000 or 750?

what stuff from the other model i will need?

what stuff is universal?

um just get a complete 1000 front end wih triples wheel rototrs all that shyt and it shud bolt right up..not sure bout the races and bearings though..prolly the same

you might need a complete front end..ask some gixxer dudes if you can just swap out the forks alone.

What up Tony. You should be able to swap the fronts with no problem. A friend of mine had an '02 600, and after he looped at 80 he got it all redone, including forks from a 1000, and I know the upper'll swap right over.

doodle, since the forks are inverted on one and now the other i will need the upper and lower triple, forks, clipons and bearings. thanks for all your help especially you mike, always picking fights and such on here

i know the fork tubes are different sizes, 45/50 mm so triples would have to be swapped also, the races i have no idea about

NEEDED TO DO THIS SWAP:
The fork Legs
Both triples!
Clip-ons

Everything else is universal

If you happen to get 03-04 1000 forks with the radial mount calipers, then you will need 300 mm rotors (the 01-02 are 320mm, same with 6-750 from 00-03) or you can use 10mm spacer kit.
