Hwy speed wheelies?

When yall do a stand up at around 60-70 do yall have it in 2-3rd? Or what gear do yall ride them in? Iv got an F4i so Im sure that limits what gear I can do them cause of the torque monster F4i.

I like 3rd because it's less touchy on the throttle

Depends on gearing and how fast you're going.

Re: Hwy speed wheelies?

6th gear, clutch it up, and ride it at 60 all day!!! only problem arises when I come back to far and start to slow down....traffic can back up, screw it, spectators are getting a free show anyways huh???

oh yeah, I'm 21 up, 1 down, on a 2003 CBR600RR....with DB bars

Re: Hwy speed wheelies?

I can stand it up at 40-48 then ride it until aout 75. Still cant get the hang of riding it and keeping it at the same speed. Just need to practice it more. I tried to do a few stand ups last night in 3rd. I think I can get it up in 3rd I just have to rev it more before I pop the clutch unlike 2nd.
