I'd rock a pick-up NE ways. Easy to install, cheap and they look sweet on the bike.

But for real why wouldn't you rock one for the price???

That's just a Funny thing to say. Suzuki's aren't handgernades but to say they outlast a Honda motor? Now that's just silly!!!

Re: stuntex oil pickup??

do a search..

gsxr engine

gsxr motor

gsxr blown motor.

gsxr blown engine.

read all the posts... and then order the pickup.

or buy a honda before its too late.

i went through 1 gsxr 1k engine
i know of 4 others here locally that blew up... no oil circluation to the third cilinder....it is the last in the oil delivery system.

good luck to anyone who hasnt installed one. and owns a gsxr. u wil all learn sooner or later.

Re: stuntex oil pickup??

agreed that my honda is harder to work on than my gsxr i got rid of.

but id rather deal with that then dump another 1,500 into a motor for a gsxr 1000.

gsxr 1000 motors are way more expensive then the 600 or 750.

goo dluck,

Because it's not worth 70 bucks and the hassle just to do bar tricks; which is all the f4 engine needs it for. I, and everybody else, can live without bar tricks

It's simple......If you want one and are worried...then get one. If not then don't. I don't have one in my motor, but that doesn't mean anyone else isn't going to need one

Of course their bike will run smoother if the oil pickup is sucking oil instead of air. As long as the engine is getting oil, it doesn't make any difference what shape the oil pickup is. Any owners' reviews beyond that is probably all in their head. A guy that puts several grand into his bike will probably say that it feels faster even if it actually isn't.

And no i don't have the oil pickup. I don't need one if i keep the bike off the 12 bar. With that said, if i had a gixxer, i would absolutely buy one. From what i've seen, their oil lights come on when a wheelie is anywhere near the balance point.

Me buying an oil pickup for my bike would be kinda like wearing a condom while jacking off.
