so i bought the bike about a month or so ago with 16.5k miles and it was sweet. now it's up to 18.5k miles and it's running kinda weird. it feels like it is lacking the power it used to have. i used to clutch it up easily anywhere from 35-70 in 2nd gear. not it'll just hop anytime i'm about 60.

the engine braking also feels weird. before, it felt like it was a lot stronger now it doesn't really engine brake much.

i haven't really done anything to it other than change the oil. it has a scorpion CF pipe and PCIII that was supposedly dyno-tuned and custom mapped by the guy i bought it from

any ideas?

try and unplug the power commander and see how it runs. Those power commanders act up sometimes

I agree. Check the PC map. Sometimes the Pcs fail and have to be re-set. If you have the tools check the compression.

also check your compression the same thing happened to my 929 i blew out all the rings

the bike just had it's 16k mile service i'm gonna be hella pissed if i blew anything and it needs work.

clutch plates or springs arnt worn are they? not sure but just an idea
