f4i broken clutch cover. Need help. PICS
I just picked up a trashed F4i, I'm worried about metal chunks in the motor. how can i make sure I dont have anything in the motor ? I'm gonna take the oil pan off tommorow.

take off that cover and clean all inside where the basket mounts and flush the oil through a few times and as long as the previous owner didnt run it for an extended period of time like that you should be ok

swap out your oil filter screen in your case, 'cause that's sure to be clogged w/ particles from your clutch cover. this, and a basic oil/filter change, and you'll be good to go. might as well do the whole shabang seeing as you have to put oil in it anyway 'cause it all leaked out.

MMI grad? thats sweet man.
yea I JB welded a nickel over the hole and fished out some metal from the pan, changed oil/filter and then rode some wheelies for 6 hours
