wtf?

ok, here's the situation. It's about 900rr '98. We've been practicing today, and during the wheelie the engine shuts off, slams front into ground, and I smash my head on the bars. Anyway...we pick up the bike...there's oil coming from exhaust pipe??? I heard something about it but don't remember what was it about. Second, it won't start and carbs are flooded. After cleaning them and pumping out cilinders (removing plugs and holding starter) it started normaly.

Now, is carb flood connected to oil in pipe? None of this has never happened on this bike! How to prevent it from happening again? Is it safe to ride now?

Re: wtf?

I have never experienced this but it might be hydro locked. Where oil gets into your airbox and then into the engine. Oil doesnt compress or burn easily so that may be why it shut off. I think thats why it might be leaking oil out the exhaust. Check the "make ur r6 not smoke after 12" or whatever it is. Its a post on this page. it will explain more on it if that is the case with your bike.
