i got a cheap 250 ninja that i got recently
bike was restored to running condition i've been riding it for almost a month
i tried to do wheelies on it and things of that nature but the things not even budgin .. only thing i learned so far is how to do burnouts and turn around 180s with backbrake .. my ? is how in the hell do i get this janky piece of shith up i tried clutchin it but when i do that the bike just lunges forward any suggestions or comments would appreciative
i got this bike for real cheap just so i can ride and it beats the **** out of those weak *** pocket bikes that cost pretty much teh same as this one
i'm gonna be upgrading this summer to somethin in the 1998-2003 range
so i'm just tryin to get the front up on this 250 before i get my new bike so i dont kill myself
thanks

Re: heres the deal
250's are geared pretty low from the factory (almost any lower and highway riding is an absolute joke). But u probly can find -1 +3 for pretty cheap... When I had my 250, it would take first gear, ~5mph 7-8k rpm , bounce once, and slip the clutch out fairly fast. Hope this helps. Its a great beginners bike, cheap, and they are suprisingly fun to ride....learn as much as you can, then hop on a f2/f3 or any other 600 when u can afford it.
for any tech related stuff (dont post wheelie questions over there, because they dispise 'stunting') go to http://www.250ninja.net
:YEAH

I would try compressing the forks a bit before you drop the clutch. Just rev the bike up bounce the pegs and drop the clutch when the forks are compressed.
