F2 Break Pads
If any one wants to help walk me though putting rear break pads on my F2, I would really appreciate it. I used to have people to do this stuff for me but I am kind of on my own this summer. I am pretty sure I have all of the tools and equipment I need, I just don't know how to get the process going.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: F2 Break Pads
i havent touched the rear brake in a while, so this is just an overview lol. There will be 2 bolts holding the caliper on 12mm and 14mm (maybe?). Then you can pull the caliper off, there is a small ~5mm allen bolt holding the pads on(the one on mine was stuck, so spray some wd-40/liquid wrench on it if u have trouble). If any of the clips fall out, remember where they go. Compress the piston back into the caliper (i usually do this with one of the old pads on the piston, and a c-clamp). Re-install the new pads, if the pads dont clear the rotor, you'll have to compress the piston further. Bolt it up tight and spray the rotor down with brake cleaner to remove any grease.
Should give u a fair idea. Any questions ask on here or pm me.
