GSXR idle problem

i have an 01 6 with a idle ajustment screw.
i have to turn the idle too 3 grand just to cut out the choppiness in my throttle (-2+16). but i havent tried turning it up to do idle tricks yet. i can ride bp at 15 or so for 50 yards and ive accidently scraped a few times, should i turn the idle up and rock the rear brake..

how fast does the bike want to go backwards with the idle?

am i ready to turn it up?

what should i turn it up too?

i dont have rear brake on lock yet, though. i was thinking that i could turn it up and teach myself?

Re: GSXR idle problem

Yes you are ready, if you have touched tail and not bailed then you are definately ready, i think you'll find that idle at about 3500-4000 makes your wheelies a lot smoother!!! Go rock it!

you're prolly using more than 4K to do what you are doing now, once you pass whatever your idle is set at then you no longer reall feel the idle, but you will have less engive brake. It's easier than you think if you are comfortable with a bike up near 12! let us know how it went!
