GSXR Idle

how do you turn the idle up on an 02 750?

with the idle screw. but it works best with an old srad throttle adjuster

I have an 00 750, and in the left fairing, just below my knee there's a little black screwy thingy, but I think that the 01's and newer don't have one, not sure though...

if you dont have the extension you have to lift the front of the gas tank up and adjust the screw on the throttle bodies. spend the 20 bucks at a dealer and by the extension set up

the part you need to order is idle adjust cable (it's about a foot long) from a 2000 GSXR-750, that is the ONLY gsxr that came with it. The SRAD and SV ones work too i think. There is also a spring and plastic washer that you could order for cheap, and to complete the kit, get the idle adjust braket/holder for the some bike, it bolts to the frame and holds the idle adjust cable up near your fairing so you dont have to go searching for it evertime you go to use it.

You can also use one off of a Kan-o-tuna.....

I used the cable, adjuster, and bracket from an 03 R6 and it works great
