stock 900rr 2nd gear wheely

This is a pretty stupid question but i can't seem to bounce/clutch my 97 900rr in second gear and was wondering if anyone else can get them up. The clutch might be slipping a little, any feedback from people with stock 900rr's would be cool.

peace.

gear that ***** -2 +7 and you can bounce up 4th on the hwy. but stock geared it should bounce up in 2nd without clutching. maybe its in the timing. give it gas when you bounce down.

Yea, i could see it maybe coming up with a perfect bounce(the front end gets really light just flooring through the power band), but with the clutch its not happening, im prolly gonna need a new clutch

it takes practice i still cant really clutch it up tho on the highway but i've only tried twice and only owned it for couple months still not used to it, but give it time and practice :D it'll come, but i'd def gear it up a lil maybe +5 rear -1 front good for stunt and street use :D

Im not a professional or anything but i consider myself reasonably skilled at wheelies, ive tried about 20-30 times to bounce/clutch the bike up in second but no luck, im just wondering if 2nd gear is real easy for some of you badasses out there.

Damn dude.... my clutch started slipping like a ***** and I could still get it up in third, while it was still slipping. When its not slipping I can pull it up in 5th gear on the highway with bounce alone. I run stock gearing.

I think your just not bouncing right. Also, I stand on the rear passenger pegs when I bring it up in fifth, but its not really even hard. This bike doesnt need to be geared at all to run BP wheelies from 40mph-150mph.

It should come up fairly easy stock, just something you gotta teach yourself to do it a certain way and you can do it in just about any gear you want. I can pull / bounce mine up at 35, in 6th if I want. Just a technique to teach yourself when doin it
