a friend has one and it handled some of his endo crashes were the tire slid out from under him but still to see a good wreck on it ? dont look that sturdy to me ,bet a nice fall over while in a slow boy would fugger it up good.

Re: Stunt - Aid Crash Cages?

The welds suck, and the bars are thin! The bars are so thin, they got bent in shipping. Plus the guy who sells them is a real peice of work. I bought one for $80 at the end of 2004, but I'm buying a 905 once this one snaps. No crashes yet, but I can tell it's gonna snap cuz most of the welds don't go all the way around the tubes. I don't have a welder so I can't reinforce it myself, but someone told me to strip it to bare metal & pack JB Weld over the sh*tty welds. Would that help prevent the welds from braking when I do crash?

Best thing i could recomend is relist it on ebay...the thing is junk...i think they are manufactured from paper mache or something...it will protect your bike OKAY for one good wreck...after that...done deal...FI cages are good...but in my opinion Powers offers the best bang for your buck...flipped my bike, thrown it down, smashed everything and the powers cage's powdercoating barely even caught a scratch

www.mxdcages.com

jb weld wont do **** but waste your time & money. if you want to make it stroger, you need to strip it down to the steel and weld some more braces in it.

Re: Stunt - Aid Crash Cages?

These cages are the real deal, nothing holds up to abuse like them, not even MXD, and for 80 dollars how could you go wrong?

(tries not to giggle)
