1992 ZX-6R Front heavy?

I'm looking to buy a 1992 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R. I've heard that they are a little front Heavy though. Has anyone ridden this model (around the same year)? Can you still lift the front wheel off quite easily?

i dont know what the bike feels like because i never rode one... i would definately guess its heavy up front so lots of gearing could help things out.

i used to have one... I geared it and that helped out... lost alot of top end though... that looks like a zx6-e to me not a R model. I had the E it really sucked.. if you can get a R i would definitly recomed it...

Re: 1992 ZX-6R Front heavy?

Wasn't a ZX-6R. Was a 6e or a 600r... same one as in the above pic right?

The 6R was completely new from the ground up... I got one the first year it came out in 1995. The old 600r then became the zx-6e.

2 totally different bikes.
