Sup yall.
im redoing my forkseals on my 929 front end. Anyone have any good how to's on this? i have no seal slammer i got all new parts any info like how to measure the oil etc ... thanks. :YEAH

For the seal slammer you can use a piece of PVC pipe or take it to a shop and just have them push them in for you. As far as measuring my 900 was like either 16 or 18 fl. oz., so it was like a bottle of fork oil or something like that, it filled it up pretty much to the top of the spring, did a gsxr6 that was pretty much the same also....

hey man, don´t forget to pump out the air, of the refilled fork. otherwise you may get into some really serious problems, if you slam down a wheelie.
i had the troubles at my kawa 9r as there was more oil and air on the leftside, than in the right side. as i came down from a highspeed wheelie i got a small tankslapper wich went into a hard one and nearly dropped me. :-(

make sure u put as much fluid as u got out...I just use a big socket to push the seal in.

thx for the imput but my forks are ****ed up i was sanding the pits out last night and noticed the left chrome has a huge dent in it , that explains why it was gushing out fluid ****in sux!
