swapping an f4i motor
I'm just swapping the same type of motor. how easy is it? is it just a matter of swapping the motors out or is there some timing/calibration involved? who has done this and what was the out come? and what 'secrets' do I need to know.
thanks

Re: swapping an f4i motor
Swapping motors is pretty easy with two people. And the 2nd person really is only there to help allign the motor mounts when installing the new powerplant.
Remove the wire harness, airbox/FI stuff, radiator, drop motor. Repeat in reverse. Your done.

That or lie it on its side to do it, and put the wheel on after the swing arm is mounted.
