Ive got a 02 gsxr1000,on the left side case(next to the case the cable goes into) there is a rubber cap that covers a stud that you can adjust with a flat head.

my friend said to screw the stud all the way to the right, then backoff 1/2 turn

I tried that ,but the clutch grabs best when i turn it almost all the way to the left,but it still slips

If your clutch is slipping, that's not gonna help. replace the clutch.

yeah ur clutch is gone. my friends 04 g1 had the same problem. turns out the fiber plates were finished.
