Re: 12 bar question...
I have the external 905 bar. If you wanna put your foot back there, you're probably gonna have to cut the end of the tail section. That's how most of the ones I've seen are. If you look at my avatar, you can see mine. You don't want the bar to be too far from the bike, it's considered cheating to some.

Re: 12 bar question...
Anyone made their own...I am sure some have. I have a '00 ZX6R and was wondering if there was a set distance to make it, or if it was just trial and error? BTW, my cage will be on it before the trial and error part!

Re: 12 bar question...
the internal 905 bar is the "normal" type and more recommended.
the difference is:
the internal 12 bar is bolted to the subframe on the sides and you HAVE to cut the tail to put it back on.
the external 12 bar mounts to the rear peg bolts and under the tail so that cutting of the tail is not necessary.
my opinion is go with the internal...if you are trying to 12, you are not worring about keeping your bike factory and pretty

Re: 12 bar question...
Mine was home built by B.Smith from Midwest stunters, just remember to make sure the side straps are heavy enough, mine bent on the 3rd or 4th scrape. it's reinforced now so now worries right now. I'll try and post pic in a minute or 2

Re: 12 bar question...
i love my 905 cage, but i have to say that i think freestyle ingenuity 12 bars are waaaaay better. in every way. just ask for the pro series.....
