900rr gas tank question
I recently bought a 900rr and I'm in the process of turning it into a streetfighter. While doing some work on it I pulled the tank off and it just had the one fuel line coming from the large threaded pipe down to a universal shut off then to a filter then into the carbs. That fuel line was just pushed up into the large threaded pipe. I know there is normaly some kind of shut-off/reserve tank switch on the left side of the frame that the line shgould go through. I assume that I don't need that and as long as I connect that fuel line to the tank correctly I will be fine with that.
My next question is that there are two more pipes coming out of the bottom of the tank that had nothing connected them. I guessed that the small one is just a vent that should have a small line coming from it ran down below the bike. And my last guess is that the medium sized tube is for the reserve line that should be plugged into that shut-off/reserve switch that I mentioned earlier. Can that meduim sized tube just be plugged off right at the tank with no harm? Thanks for any replies.

Re: 900rr gas tank question
the missing valve is a Pet c o c k it wont let you type it if you type it normal. But i would put it on because it makes it easier when you remove the tank from the bike. Your right about all those lines though. Not to sure if you can do a direct hookup though.
