04 F4i same as the older ones? I was wondering how much different cause i don't see a FI cage anywhere or 12 bar should i decide not to just make one. anything else i should know, and i wanna change the seats and tail so i don't have mega single seat what needs done thanks.

need to change the subframe.. Everything else IE cage etc is the same as 01-02

The cage will be the same. The rear seats on the 04's are one peace I don't think the wheelie bars are the same. The subframes are interchangable but that is not nessary to mount the cage.

ya, you don't have to change the subframe...the old style seat is fine, i actually like it better, but you have to do a little fab to make the old style bars fit...

thanks for the input i was just wondering because i was lookin at pics of the 2 and it looks like the new seat takes the place of the older plastic and the plastic on the old ones takes up the place of the seat on the new one was just wodering if i could swap and the bolt holes might be the same to just swap plastic and seats. i know that is a lil confusing in words but i hope u guys get what i'm sayin thanks

i think you are saying you want to put the rear of the 01-03 f4i on the 04. you need to swap subframes and thats it. it will bolt right up. cages fit the same too.
