Help what parts? Re-doing my F4 Clutch
Well my 2000 f4 most likely has not had clutch work done since it left the showroom floor. Last time I rode I think I messed it up. I really don't know about clutches so if someone can guide me through that would be cool. I'm pretty handy. Do I need to take the clutch cover off and disassemble to see what parts I need (are broken)? Or are there certain parts to order? If someone could get show me what parts to order my friend said he'll do the work for me. So don't worry I'm not going to install them myself. www.ronayers.com has microfiche for the 2000 f4 so just give me the part number I would appreciate it.

If your clutch has no had work done to it since bought I would reccomend replacin the whole clutch (springs, fiber, plates). The #'s you will need to order are #5, #6, #7, #9 (when you call to order they will tell you how many of each # you will need). Also dont forget to order a new gasket for the clutch cover. It pretty simple to change, drain oil, take off clutch cover, remove the bolts and springs that hold the fibers and plates in the basket, remove the clutch it will be fiber, plate, fiber, plate, etc. You #5 and #6 fiber are different so when you put them back in the first one in will be a #5 and the last ne in will be a #5 and the last #5 will sit different from the rest of the fibers and plates. Just remember how you take it apart and you should have no problem.
