.....hells no!
Not even close to Balance Point. You're chasing the wheelie, i.e.....u have to go faster and faster in order to keep the front wheel off the ground, thus, why u're RedLining.

close, you know that feeling you get when you think you've gone too high (that oh **** feeling) thats BP! keep getting there until your comfortable, after a while you won't be skeered. that (oh ****) is when your weightless and don't need throttle any more!
good luck, take it slow, and be safe! you'll wanna ride tomorrow too!

Throttle wheelie, I use them a lot on my quad [trx450r] but not sure the wheelie gene is in me. From bmx manuals or on the to more than say 40-60 feet on a quad I got no juice. It's ****ing

Damn, I know what your thinking..."Damn this is High...", right???? Not even bro, look at the pics! See my avatar? I'm still not even near BP in that pic! You got a long way to go. I don't know about the rest of these guys here, but I had to loop it to find out were it was (long story). Keep at it and you will get it, just wear your gear, and rember, if you cover the rear brake, and you think you went to far, don't be afraid to use it. That's why I looped, because I wasn't covering the rear....

Oh yeah, forgot to add...clutchin it up and doing standups is way easier, but it puts you past your comfort zone....takes a while to get use to the feeling, especially BP. I like to play around when I hit BP (before I blew my motor)........

Re: wheelie, do i need to go higher?
it seems to redline faster when u go higher because ur not coming up fast enough from the start.. when ur that low and then try to bring it higher u burn up the rr's faster than if u just let it alone.but u will get there dont push it .try this...when u pull it up each time give it a little more throttle on the initial pop up each time. to get u up higher each time and get used to it coming up so fast to the BP.DO NOT in the middle of that garbage try to chase it up to BP. because it will start to come up slow then jerk straight back when u start to get them higher.( u wont like those results)Try to get ur hight from the start .Its all feeling out there and trail and error
