Removing chain....

How the fucck do u guys get stock chains off, i dont have an air compressor, andi tries usin a flat head, and a hammer for like 30 min, the **** still wouldnt come off, What shoud i do???

Any cutting tool bigger than a steak knife should work. I usually zip them off with an angle grinder and a cut off wheel.

I used a dremel and a cheap cutoff wheel attachemnt, took like 3 minutes.

I bought a chain breaker from ebay for like 15 bucks shipped. Try that.

Yup, i used a grinder with a flat wheel, and it came off in like 45 seconds! You definitely have to cut it if its stock. You will have to buy a master link to put it back together, and you most likely will have to have chain tool to press it back together so you can put the clip on (if thats the kind of master link you get). I just bought one for 50 bucks because i broke the clip on mine trying to do it without the tool. Or just trailer your bike up to the nearest shop and they will charge you for putting the chain back on.

Bolt cutters...you know, the kind you use to cut the chain when you're thiefin' a ride. Check with local comertial plummers, duck workers or electricians, ask for a 1/2" beam clamp and make your own chain breaker if you don't own a pair of bolt cutters

I went out and got some bolt cutters, **** works fine, tok like 30 sec...
