Re: Tip over switch (how to remove it?)

The head lights dont matter it's the tip sensor mounted on TOP of the headlight. If thats not plugged in then your fuel punp wont kick on, In other words, your bike wont start. Thats why you have to bypass that sensor. After that, you can take your headlight out and ride without it. Or you can wire both your lights to your highbeam switch and just turn them on and off whenever. But hey, dont listen to me, according to people in this thread i dont know jack!

just for clarification, there are TWO black boxes under there, the bigger one that rattles is the tip over sensor, the smaller plain looking one is the fuel pump relay. Didn't want to have people trying to fill their fuel pump relays with silicone. LOL

same thing, under the seat, its the black box that rattles when you shake it. I think some of them are hard to get to, might have to take the rear seat and rear plastics off, but i doubt it.

Re: Tip over switch (how to remove it?)

I wanted to see what a tip over sensor looked like, so I took mine out from the headlights on my 600RR and smashed it with a hammer.....its filled with oil and the parts are unrecognizeable after hitting it with a large hammer, except for the pendulum with magnets on each side!!!!!! it is now bypassed!!!!

pissed????? I smash things when I get bored......or curious....or tired......what were we talking about

I live on a farm in the middle of nowhere and trailor 45 minutes to get the "spot".....so I bought a .45, a 12 guage, and assorted other fun things and have begun to shoot things when I get bored!!! anyone wanna see a picture of my old speaker box that I tripped over one day and decided it was a bad idea to keep??? <----a speaker box is great target practice for a .45 when you wanna get good at trying to shoot in the head......set it on a fence post and tape a picture of Elmo on there, blast away until elmo is gone, spin the speaker box and replace with a picture of Big Bird, repeat until all of the muppets have been assasinated then move on to Barney then those stupid TeleTubby Jackaszes!!

what was this forum about again.....I'm bored, you got anything you don't want anymore I just got a thing of lighter fluid, some matches, a 100 round box of hollow points, some new crayons, and a looney toons coloring book. Lets color for about an hour then go shoot that silly wabbit!!!

honestly, i have experience with two, 905 and POWERS. BOTH were diesel! I just switched sponsors because my team did not like the 905's (they never tried them though, go figure) and POWERS offered to sponsor the whole team. POWERs new cages are sooooo strong!

I never used FI or MDX or any of those, so i really can't comment on them.

in any case, ANY cage is better than NO cage, so get one on there BEFORE you start trashing your bike!

gixxers are all ive ridden for the last three years, so if you need any help with it, any questions, gimme a shout, PM or something, or post up on the Legion forum. Godd luck, keep one wheel high.
