i have an 02 zx6r and the stator side engine case is cracked where the bolt on the bottom right goes in. its cracked in two places, one at the apex of the outside curve and one just above it. if you threaded a bolt into the hole then hit it with a hammer going towards the back of the bike it would crack and push that metal out a little. thats the best i can explain it (computer illeteriate hence no pics) i know a guy that can weld the outside but im worried about the crack spreading. is there anything i can put inside the bolt hole to stop it from crackin from the inside? thread loc thread form????? im getin a new cage next week so hopefully i wont have to take that bolt out again. any help would be appreciated. thanks
