ok, in november i dropped it busted the stator, we took the stator off jb welded it just today no hurry to fix heh. but today i put it on, tried to start it, all it did was make a click noise and then some weird *** noise behind the stator and it won't start.. sounds like the starting motor is dead or somthing.. any ideas? all it does is click then buzzz no start

when my **** clicks its always the battery,try charging or jump starting it,it cold weather push starting wont do ****.

i agree with everyone on the battery thing. try and bump start it first then go from there

if the battey is good and the stator isint working right it should still start. I would say it is more likely your stater or starter silinoid. The click you here is from the silinoid for sure but I'm not sure about the buzz. I would try taking the silinoid off of your other 900 and hook it to the bike and see if thats the problem.

if you pulled the stattor cover off ... you need to pulll it back off and check if the dowel pin and gear are lined up behind the rotor ..if you have it in a bind it wont start ....

and the winner is kcmw, wish i came on here earlier to read that lol was out there finally noticed the problem thanks for the help, now i gotta find out why it won't start now, now its just turning slowly haha but not kicking over

Once my bike would click and not start when I had a short on the bike. Have any loose wires, metal on metal frame?
