If you can get 1st and 2nd up why are you asking for advice on third?
I find it funny how people ask what rpms to clutch at, just do it. I haven't looked at my tach in a wheelie ever.

Re: R1 Wheelie ???
if your so concerned with third clutch her up in second and shift to third. someone said that would be fast on this post already i'll second that one. totally outa control at that speed, you know it won't really steer going that fast it'll fight you .

Re: R1 Wheelie ???
if that baby will do over 100 in first, it's got to do what, 125ish in 2nd? In third 135-140? So why not just 2nd. But anyways, if it's tricky I'd stand up, maybe give it a little bounce and then expiriment with revs. start out bringing it up 3-4k at first and work from there

Re: R1 Wheelie ???
If you know how to do it in 2nd, just do the same thing in 3rd only put a bit more "umph" into it lol... But I have to say that I'm with the rest of these guys on here, why do you want to do 3rd when you can break 120 in 2nd??? There seems to be no need to do anything in 3rd unless you have that bike geared down like a **** or something. But whatever creams your twinky I guess...

Re: R1 Wheelie ???
Dude if you wanna wheelie at 120 then do it!!! For third, stand up and bounce and clutch the crap out of it. I could do it on my '02 (not for very long because I'm new to all this wheelieing sport bikes stuff), but it will definately come up.
