help with foot controls

I need some advice, and I am sore most people will say do whatever is comfortable for you. But I am curious do allot of peps move their back brake pedal and shift level up so they can reach it or use it better while stunting? I want to move my back brake up for standups because it seems so far away for me to apply presure on it, then when I am sitting down after I adjusted it up is seems to high. Also for the shifter, same thing. Do you all rasie it? Or is it mind of matter and just have to get use to where they are.

I raised mine not only for the reaching part during wheelies, but also because my shoes would drag on the ground when I made corners if I had the pedals too low, and my feet were angled downward.
Today...I scraped something else on the side in a very sharp corner, but I don't know what...(part of the bike) Maybe the pegs?

Re: help with foot controls

try putting ur left foot back on the passenger peg while doin standups. itll give ur foot a better angle for hittin the rear brake. and it shud be fine or maybe a lil uncomfortable when sitting. dont need to use the shifter because u shudnt be shifting!!!!!!!!!! go higher so ur not reving out the bike mwill sit a bp and u wont even hafta think about shifting

Yeah I need to try that more (left leg back on pass peg), I tried it once but I thought the bike was gonna come up sideways. Plus the 04 R6 tail feels like it is in the way.

try putting your toes on the pegs and lean off the bike more

Re: help with foot controls

I have an 04 R6... and I do them staggered. Tail isn't too bad actually. The whole staggered feeling just takes some getting used to. I actually moved my brake down a bit cause I would step on it and not even notice. But I have big *** feat. Get comfortable with it... and it'll all be clockwork

Putting my toes on the pegs would probably help...I do lean quite far sometimes...no squidmarks on those back tires...I can't figure out why there are still ones on the front tire though. Guess you have to hit a sweeper at like 160 to get rid of those
