Mesh pants???

I was wondering how mesh pants will actually hold up if you go down. I like the icon t-max, but dont want to sacrafice too much protection. An one go down with mesh pants on? what happened, speed, howd you turn out? Also, i still cant decide if i want an f4i or a 929. Any help is greatly appreciated! You could be saving me from more road rash Thanks a ton in advance!

Im not sure about the mesh pants, but i went down in a half mesh/leather joe rocket jacket at 50mph. It held up to a certain point but the mesh gave away and i had road rash. None the less, i would have had it worse without a jacket.

i got a shift mesh jacket (kevlar), it feels like it could hold up pretty good for any fall under 40-50mph, after that im pretty sure your gonna lose some skin

Re: Mesh pants???

I wear some shift pants and I went down in first gear and they got all tore up. they are enforced with kevlar but they dont hold up that well(compared to leather). Mesh isnt as hot and is more flexible but it doesnt offer alot of protection.
