Question On 98 900 Fuses

Im having trouble with the trip mileage on the odometer. I go by this for gas in my bike and today I filled it up and reset the trip A to count my mileage, we stopped not to long after and I shut my bike off. When we started back out I looked down at my trip miles and it was back to 0. Everytime I shut my bike off the trip miles go back to 0, is there a fuse or something that this runs off of or what. I checked all the fuses in the bike and they are good but there is a black unmarked fuse in the fuse box that I have no clue what its a fuse too. Any help would be greatly appreciated.......

Re: Question On 98 900 Fuses

Its not gonna be a fuse problem, I think your trip meter checked out...
Even when you completly disconnect the ins cluster then plug it back in it is supposed to remember the trip>>>
Dont shut it off--- LOL
