Re: honda 600rr

i got an 04 RR and i haven't had any problems. I learned to stunt from the guys on this forum. I ve been posting here for a while and know of others who ride the RR and none of them have had any problems. (See Mastershake, he rides the hell out of his, i mean he can just about make it wheeile itself, talk to him, he can answer ?s you may have about the RR) There are a few people on here that think its harder to wheelie and you should change the sprockets but its all bull%$#@ dude. I couldn't wheelie at all, i learned standups in 1st, then 2nd, then 3rd. Sitdowns are easy once you do standups. Hell i don't even have to bounce except for 3rd. You don't need new sprockets and you don't have to weigh a certain amount. None of that crap is needed to just ride and wheelie a bike. my friend has a 04 gixxer 600 and hes had to replace the basket and clutch on it at 2800miles and he could already ride wheelies. I have 5800miles on it, including 2 long haul rides to the florida keys and we were riding standers for miles down there. I pulled the oil and sent it to a lab, perks of my job, and had an analysis done on it for wear and debri etc. One sample at my first oil change and another when we returned from florida, and there was hardly no wear increase at all. However a dyno run showed the engine sustained the midrange power longer after the engine got a few miles on it. But all the bikes are great machines. But look at the poll on here. More people ride and stunt Hondas more than any other model.

Goto 600rr.net

Is a great website dedicated to the 600rr any questions you may have about the bike will be answered with a simple search there.

Be carefull asking stunt questions as most of them dont condone stunting and they merely focus on track riding.

Re: honda 600rr

I have an '03 with 21,000 miles, and I have had only one problem, and only one other person I know had this problem, the idle adjust was stiff and hard to turn the idle up. Other than that, I've wheelied with stock gears, +2 rear, -1 front and +7 rear, and -1 front and +17 rear. I have the +17 on now, but I think I like the +7 rear better . Its a fun streetbike, a good trackbike, and can be a good stuntbike. I have a cage, 12 bar, and chopped/crashed tank, no mirrors/signals/plates , and thats the way I like it. Get one and ride the **** out of it---it can take it!
