Re: 929 problems solved here!

so when your bike is idled up to lets say 4 grand you pull your clutch in and the dam this idles even higher if so thats normal with a 929 if your rocking slow stuff you preaty much have to idel it up to were you want it do a wheelie se if its rite for you and if not idle it up more do a wheelie and so on till you like it let me know if this is what your having problems with

Re: 929 problems solved here!

Rock the idle at 2500 or lower and u will be fine. I eliminated the exhaust valve, gutted the airbox and run a stock idle cable. Elim the valve makes the bike a little smoother doin slow chit. My buddy keith rocks his 954 all stock with no probs.

Get rid of that gay azz two brothers muffler, naw seriously though, I got rid of that annoying-*** tip-over sensor and I have a full Micron and a PCII. I found it easier to ride full stock, 'cause the maps are garbage. Since the invention of the Teka SFI I've since reinstalled my full pipe and had it tuned right. I agree, as far as idle adjustment 2500 is what I was told and it works.
Good luck....Late..........Free C

you know if you get rid of your tip over switch when you go down your engine mite shut off but your fuel injector wond and when you go to start it you could probly bend a rod because you pumped so much gas into your engine think about it

If you go down and the bike shuts off....it quits pumping fuel anyway. It is pressurized but the nozzles are shut. Mod the sensor! under the seat attached to the front of the rear tank bracket there is a black box with 3 wires that go to, i think, a green plug. Cut all 3 wires between the box and the plug and solder (if it ever comes apart...bike dies) the 2 outside ones together, leave the middle one hang. Turn the key and kill switch on and see if the pump comes on, if it did..u did it right.

If a frog had wings he wouldn't bump his *** everytime he jumped now would he. If you are unlucky enough to have all of those sequence of events happen to you then the last thing I would ever do is get on a motorcycle. In your scenario, I'd rather bend a rod than to have my bike shut off on me again while I'm doin' coasters. Having your bike shut off on you unexpectedly is really not cool......But that's my .......Late.........Free C.

The fuel pump will keep running? lol so you are saying if I stall the bike out taking off my fuel pump keeps running? lol

racing905 makes front faring stays for the 929 as well as other bikes

Re: 929 problems solved here!

The 929 will shut off while on the bar if you don't take out the tip over sensor. I've never done a coaster w/o removing the tip over, but it'd be ugly to take the chance. My clutch is tight as **** so pulling that **** in with one finger aint easy. The idle is fine at 2500-3k though it took me months to be smooth enough on the brake to do no hander variations. Lemme know when it's all smashed to **** so i can take the engine.
