Honda 900rr, 929 or 954 for a stunt bike

Alright, its bout that time for me to buy a stunt bike. I wanna start learnin slow wheelies and perfect the rest and i know im gonna f up eventually so id rather do it with a second bike as compared to my 636, id rather keep her as my main street bike. I just dunno what i want to get yet. I'm lookin at these 3 bikes (Honda 900RR, 929 and the 954) What do you recommend? Pros and Cons? I could probably search but id rather stat up a new post.

Thanks in advance

Re: Honda 900rr, 929 or 954 for a stunt bike

I'm on a 900RR... If you want to stunt a big bike go with the 929, or 954 for the fuel injection, but I would look into stuntin' a 600 for the slow stuff, they're smoother, easier to ballance, lighter, and I've been told that the bigger bikes don't work as well with a handbrake... I'm putting my handbrake on this week so I'll have to get back to you on that, but if I were you , I'de use the big bike for your street bike, and the 636 for stuntin' That way you have more power for the highway, and the smoother more ballanced bike for the parking lots. If you take the plastics off the 636 and get a cage, you'll be able to make it look good as new and sell it later. (I might know something about this from experience)

Re: Honda 900rr, 929 or 954 for a stunt bike

i got 954 just because it's quite new so motor is ok. Also Fuel injection is a plus and it's really light. Lighter then F4. Lot of power and probably twisty as hell. I'm just building mine from crashed bike and haven't got even a change to try it yet. Damn winter.

954 is almoust as light as 636.

I just swithed from a 600 to a 954 and like the 600 better. The 954 with +10 is really touchy, but Im sure it will just take time to get used to.

Re: Honda 900rr, 929 or 954 for a stunt bike

I am on a '94 900RR and i love it. I went from an F4 that was pretty sweet too, but the 900 justr has so much power. I didn't get into stunting really seriously untill i got the 900 because i was afraid to screw the f4 up to bad. I dont give a flyin $h!t about my 900 because i bought it for the sole purpose of stunting. I like it though, lots of power. It is kinda heavy, but since i havent really tried crazy stuff on smaller bikes, i wouldn't know if its a lot harder or not. I just try to get used to it cause thats what i got. Good luck

You already got a badass stunt bike on your hands. In my opinion, you just get another 636. 900's are booty, 929's and 954's are pimp but they will probably cost you more than getting a used/salvage 636.

Re: Honda 900rr, 929 or 954 for a stunt bike

Thats a good idea Ice Mike. I never thought of it that way. I more about slow wheelies, i can wait to be able to rock a nice slow wheelie....but then again, i love riding stand ups to. So maybe i will get a 900+ for my street bike and turn the 636 into a stunt bike.

Only problem i have is the fact i am still payin off the 636. Should be paid off this summer. I might keep the one i got now as my street bike and do what MSE said. Find a used 636 and turn her into my stunt bike....hmm now everyones got me thinking

bump because i need a bike....

hey, what do you guys think about this deal....good or bad'?/

1800 for a bike with no title (i'll have to title 42 it)
it's a 929 that needs the side of the case welded, mids, lowers, and upper and a headlight, a front seat.....
here are a few pics...what do ya'll think??

How much do you trust the person you're buying the bike from? I wouldn't pay a dime over $500 for something without a title, you never know the story... May make a good stuntbike, but it will be worthless if it is impounded.
