pics of my gear swap, lareg pics 56k murkage!

specs: 525 chain RK x-ring, 56 tooth rear (+13), stock new front.

was easier than i thought. used jack stands to hold the bike up. cut the rear chain off with my chop saw, took me and a buddy liek an hour, not bad for the first time. front sprocket was barely tight we were liek wtf?!? hardest part was putting the new chain together. many will critique but we did it the ghetto way with a hammer, punch, an iron block and a small vise.

and i must say the pins came out pressed and crushed perfectly. rode the bike. first gear comes up like butter. barely any gas needed to lift it up and rode PERFECT on the street liek stock, a tiny bit revved more but no big deal

do everything yourself like i do i work on all my own bikes and buddies that i stunt with. bike shops, is what i think :YEAH you will learn so much while keeping your money in your pocket. that's why i'm currently looking for a tire machine :YEAH get a good set of tools, since you really only use minimal sockets and allen wrenches for bikes period. it's a lot easier than you think :YEAH practice makes perfect :YEAH i'm +12 it's so snappy. i love it

El Nino,

What up brother!! Long time no post eh. Dude the bike looks nice'n'tight. glad to see your wrenching now, careful man it's addictive. Especially when you start shopping for tools, mmm craftsman.
I've been out for a few months. I'll try to sum it up. Bought a house, pimped it out(that took a couple months plus I had to switch over to handyman mode), blew up my car, rebuilt my frickin top end (car). Started playing GTA San Andreas(sooo addictive), bought the wife tons of stuff for Christmas, took care of my wife she was in a huge car accident(a stupid azz 17 year old in a stupid azz SUV hit her they had to cut her out of the car but luckily she's ok now if you don't count physical therapy and tons of bills) took out a loan to get her another car. soooooooo I haven't had any time nor money to do any wrenching on my 954 since I need a ton of maintenance,,,no riding either. HOWEVER, I can see the light now. I just picked up a few parts and will be starting on the thing on Monday. I couldn't hang on stuntlife when my plate was that full. I dunno aobut you but to me it's painful to read about riding stunting or wrenching when I can't do it myself. gives me to big of an itch.
Anyway I'm back for the most part now and if there's anything you need just drop me a line.
Props again,

Oh ya and have you seen RRmike?
