thats the way to do it weld it solid and you dont ever have to worry about it

If you do that it breaks at the rear half where the round tube starts. Then you are really ****ed. Just run the brace from peg to peg and be easy as possible on it.

all these ideas are sick, but like i told another person trying to strengthen a weak part already is not as good in the end maybe these guys have had luck so far which is great, but beefing up will only create more pressure on the eyelets? which are what the subframe connects to. eventually because the subframe is meant to break before the mounting holes or whatever, you will end up doing more damage. then you will have to weld on your subframe, cut it off when it breaks and keep doing this over and over. buy a welder and keep welding the same subframe - then keep your eyes on ebay because you will find some 50.00 subframes or even cheaper and pick up a couple extras. i had steel rearsets which held up for a lot of spills, but ended up breaking my mount holes off, which sucks because then i had to bring it to welder to get it fixed and i'm sure it would have cost as much as a couple cheap rearsets off ebay. I could have gotten a rearset for $5.00. stupid in the long run, but i totaled it anyway so my new frame with fix all my problems. you don't have to take my advice, but i think it is better to have the bolt on part break than the spot it bolts on to. :YEAH also it sounds like you're slamming the 12's back ,soi try to hold the throttle or lock it from the start and don't move it at all, make sure to use that rear brake a litlle more because the bike with locked throttle will come up so smooth and slow dependiing on the gear and rear brake should stop it 3/4 of the way up let go of rear brake and the tail will lightly scrape-- it will be so smooth and solid, but no subframe damage.

I Also Ran A Threaded Rod From One Side Of The Rear Peg To The Other...

With Nuts Pushing Out From The Inside ..
It Helps To Keep The Subframe From Flexing Inwards While Your Standing On The Rear Peg...

I Seen Another Guy Put A Peice Of A Jack Handle In The Same Way...
