How do you change your tires without stands?
I don't have any stands yet and my new tires arrived and i need to take my wheels off. Anyone have any do it yourself ways of getting the your bike up in the air?

I've used jack stands under the swing arm, but i can't figure out anything for the front that won't get in the way of taking off the tire.

do it around the bottom of the top triple tree, less chance of bending your clip ons, jack under the rear straps to the rafters on the front

Do a search for handyindustries universal stands in google. You can get a front and rear stand for $99. They arent the most sturdy, but they work and are worth the price. By the way I'm not advertising. Just trying to help.

Hoist it up from above. got desperate once and needed the front a rear off at the same time. Used 2 jack stands for the rear and then used my Canyon Dancer and a couple of tie-downs and lifted it from the ceiling a couple inches.

depending on where you put the floor jack on the bike, you can lift either the front or back and it will be fairly stable. some times if you let it pivot on the kickstand it will work good
