How bout the rest of us measly low incomed college kids who make 8 bucks an hour and would still like somethin diecent to film themselves and some friends and maybe put it on CD or post it on here for viewing pleasure/nausiation? What would you suggest? Remember I also have a shitty *** Sony notebook computer. ANd I'm pretty clueless at makin movies on the comp? Who's got suggestions?

I've got a Canon ZR40 and a ZR60 with a Macintosh Laptop and Desktop. I've been a Professional Photographer for years but have never done any video. I took my video camera just once with me on a ride...came back, downloaded - AND NOW, I'M HOOK ON VIDEO!!!
I edit everything on my Mac and that **** looks sweet! :YEAH
I recently bought a Helmet Cam and I am just enjoying every minute!
Canon ZR40 (eBay) - $200.00 (give or take)

Just need to get me some wide angle lens and a **** load of batteries and one day...just one day when I grow up, I hope to be like RedLine Jimmy! :YEAH

im telling you....
high tech is 3 ccd's
panasonic pv-gs120 is 3 ccd's, not 1 ccd liek most cameras up to 1800$
anything 3 ccd besides what i have is a vx200 sony or canon gl2 which are 2 grand
i have used my 3ccd pv-gs120 panasonic and its greta, and takes stills just enuff for web use 1.2Megapixels
and at $650 you cant beat that
hands down teh best bang for teh buck, yoru getting 3 ccd's before having to buy a 2 grand gl2 or vx2000
be smart, buy this if your in eth average camera range which happened to be liek 5-700
3 ccd's loosk SUPER clear
