need help finding brake line fitting!!!

Tryin to assemble a brake line. I won an auction off ebay for 48" of an-4 brake line. Both ends have #4 female connections. I've been trying to find a banjo bolt to fit the #4 connection and can't find anything but #3. Maybe i screwed up by getting this line but it was only $18. Does anyone know where i can order a fitting from.

Here the auction. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT

this might be what your looking for:

or

or you could always get the #3an to the banjo fitting, and then get a #4male to a #3 female adapter

sweet thanks for the help. Is #4 just really big or what? Must not be a standard since most of the stuff i found was #3.

Re: need help finding brake line fitting!!!

#4 is roughly a 1/2" ID line. most brake lines are 3/16" OD (#3 AN). #4 is more usefull for like a supply line for nitrous or brake fluid from a remote resevoir, or for a pressure line for a gauge. either way it should be fine.

Hmm they don't have the right size banjo, i just checked and its bigger than the small one. Plus i'm pretty sure i need a metric. 1/2" id sounds huge, this is for a handbrake and i'm worried i'm not gonna have a big enough piston to move that much fluid.

Re: need help finding brake line fitting!!!

yea 1/2" is pretty big... you should still be able to use it though. Hmm... you could always slap it back on ebay, and get you a 3an one. There's a local place here, that does nothing but make fluid lines. I got a 3/16" braided line 60" long w/ 2 banjo fittings on it for something like $40... I'm not sure what that line is made out of, but there's different materials that have to be used for brake fluid ( i can't remember if its brake fluid or something else, but i'm pretty sure its brake fluid).. just search around on jegs.com or summit.com and see what ya can't find.. if they don't have it listed, call there tech lines, and they should be able to hook you up with something.
