i went out on the highway a little today and i powered a few up,then started clutching...they both come up as quick and straight the the balance point..only dffernce i saw was my rpms were a couple grand lower...either way they both work

**** a clutch its only good for startin a bike. i get my 03 750 up in 1st-4th without clutchin ****. but standups are the way to go you have more control and a better feel of the bike. thats just what ive noticed. i like not to clutch cause my bike comes up fine with a bounce and a twist. i like to use my arms and my body weight to control how fast and far the front end comes up. with doing that you can ride out any gear for as long as you want. and yet ive havent looped a bike.
