I think that delrin would get ate up way too quick but that a hell of an idea. It would have much more give and make 12s way easier. We should look into that. Of course you would still need the steel frame for the bar, and a steel plate for the back, but you could put replacable delrin inserts on the end. Worth looking into.

all i know is, that delrin bolts rocked in my autococker when i used to play paintball. never had trouble keeping up with the trigger with a delrin bolt, never froze either as long as my ball detent was good. definately a good idea tho..cheers

If any body wants to try one I'll make them for $20 a piece. PM me with the dimensions of your slider plate on your 12 bar (for instance F.I. is 11 x 2" steel slider, 3 bolts on center line 3 1/2" spacing between them). I'll use counter sunk flat head allen bolts so you'll have a fair bit of material to wear away until you get close to scraping the bolt. This price would include the delrin slider (with bolt pattern machined into it) and the hardware to mount it.

yeah,i think it would be great to bolt as the scrape plate on your 12 bar,if you were to go back too far on accident or 12 it on accident it would be less likely to grab road and send the bike flying vs. just touching and wearing down the derlin,i may be wrong tho?
