Delrin as 12 bar stock?

Re: Delrin as 12 bar stock?
Not a good idea. We've tried it. Thought that it would slide better and it does. The problem is this, it's too slick. The bar wants to slide side to side. Not what you want when dragging. You want some friction to keep it pulling straight.

This does sound like a pretty sweet idea.
Can i have titanium hunks implanted into mine so that it still sparks?
Oh wait i need to learn to 12 first... and i need a 12 bar haha damn....
Delrin wont sound near as cool scrapin across the ground, but this may be a very plausable idea for us new stunters that are learning to 12 cause like doodle says it'd probably be less likely to throw you. And with simple allen bolts as a means of connecting it, you could take it off when you feel as if you wanna break some **** or if you can scrape bare metal and not toss it.

a guy that rides in our grop has it on his bike. like said above, it is way to slick, it slides reallllllly easily, but its like sliding on ice, you never know when it is gonna make a sharp turn and leave your ***.
i would not waste your time with this if i were you guys
