bike won't stay on!
My 93 f2 doesn't stay on after I turn off the choke! This all started when I took off the airbox and gas tank and put them back on. Now the bike starts with the choke on but once I warm it up and turn off the choke the bike completely shuts off. Don't know what it is I tried the idle and that did not work! Anyone knows whats wrong with my bike.
Thanks for the help.

Re: bike won't stay on!
Well, i was at a stop light yesterday and was trying to set my idle back down (had it turned up for crusing on a straight, it was fuggin cold and was warmin my hands) anyway, i was crankin the idle back down and i was turning it alot and nothin was happening so i was like whatever. Did a wheelie and after i had pulled in the clutch for a turn my bike completely dies. I pull over quickly and it wouldnt start so right away i think about the idle, start turning it back up and sure enough it starts right up.
So maybe the idle is just stuck?? cause if it runs off choke and dies at idle, it sounds like yer idle is set to low?
Someone else may have a better answer but thats just my experience/what i cna think of.

i can pretty much promise you your jets are all gummed up. take your carbs apart and clean the hell out of them, take the jets out and make shure to get them real clean. put it back together and you shoudl be fine.

Re: bike won't stay on!
It probably is the idle but haven't really messed with it! It can't be my jets because before I took off the tank and airbox it was running fine and when I put them back that is when it shut off once the choke was turned off! Thanks for your help
