636 Problems...

for those of you all who are running the kawi's or know people who are....how are they comparing to the 900's / 929's.....how are the frames holding up? how are the regular break points? motor mounts, subframes, etc? Any problems with the wheels? oil starvation problems? does it run fine on the bar? tip over sensor bypass problems??
thanks for any advice...

Re: 636 Problems...

905 makes 2 different stays for them to take care of the problem. I got the full one which replaces the whole thing. They also make a half that works with your stock one if it's not broke.

Re: 636 Problems...

i've run a Freestyle cage/bar, woodcraft clipons/rearsets/footpegs/casecovers, on both my 636's and (knock on wood) have not broken a casecover, footpeg, rearset, motormount, subframe mount, clipon, lever or anything else for that matter.

the front fairing stay does suck, i just avoid HC endos and don't put all my weitght down on the HC whuulys.

Re: 636 Problems...

You got oil in the airbox from the crankcase breather and hydrolocked the engine. I would take the breather off the airbox, get a longer hose and small filter, and route it to the front/top of the engine so the oil stays in the engine.
